Texas Hold ‘em Poker has been around for years and years but has only recently become one of the most played poker games in the world.  One of the main reasons Texas Hold ‘em has become so popular is because the game is incredibly easy to learn but there is a ton of strategy involved in the game which makes the game so interesting.

Texas Hold ‘em Explained

1. Each player is dealt two cards
2. There is a round of betting
3. Three cards are dealt face up in the center of the table and can be used by every player at the table. This is known as “the flop”
4. There is a round of betting
5. One card is dealt face up in the center of the table and can be used by every player at the table. This is known as “the turn”
6. There is a round of betting
7. One card is dealt face up in the center of the table and can be used by every player at the table. This is known as “the river”
8. There is a final round of betting
9. Players turn there cards over and make their best possible poker hand from the 5 cards in the middle of the table, also known as “the board”, and the two cards in their hand.
10. The best 5 card poker hand wins.
